I was reminded of this after having finally read the three novels in the international best-selling trilogy by the late Stieg Larsson.Īnd then, of course, I had to see the films of the first two, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire, which have been running in and around DC for the past several months. The third novel, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest, has not yet been released as a film. Some bad books make great movies and some great books are turned into bad movies.
